Terms of Use
Pilot draft · 13 October 2026. Final legal and provider details must be confirmed before recruitment.
The pilot and who can join
Bearing is operated by Jamie Bailey personally. This early experimental pilot is for approved people aged 18 or over who live in the UK. No diagnosis is required. Requesting access does not guarantee approval. Participation is voluntary and you can stop at any time.
What Bearing can and cannot do
Bearing offers guided experiments and short check-ins to explore everyday experience. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency/crisis support. It does not establish whether you have ADHD, autism or another condition. Bearing itself has not been clinically or scientifically validated, and observations do not prove what caused a change. No outcome is guaranteed.
Bearing complements support you use or may choose to use, including clinical or coaching support. You remain responsible for your decisions and actions. This pilot does not recommend personalised next actions or provide professional signposting, audit reports, user-created experiments or micro-learning.
Using Bearing
Use the service honestly and only through your approved account. Do not share sign-in codes, interfere with the service, try to access someone else’s information, or submit unlawful or abusive content. Do not include medical, diagnostic or identifying information in messages or comments. Submitted experiment responses cannot be edited; optional comments may be removed for privacy.
Changes and access
As a pilot, Bearing may change, be unavailable, pause or stop. Jamie may pause or withdraw access where needed for safety, security, misuse or operation of the pilot. We cannot promise continuous availability. Contact us if you want to withdraw; the Privacy Notice explains retention and requests about your information.
Content ownership
Bearing’s original software, design and written content belong to Jamie Bailey or their respective rights holders. You may use them to take part in the pilot. You retain any rights you have in your submitted text; Bearing uses it for the pilot and research purposes described in the Privacy Notice.
Responsibility and legal limits
The pilot is provided without a promise of a particular result. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where UK law does not permit it, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Your applicable statutory rights are unaffected. The final governing-law and jurisdiction clause for this UK pilot remains an owner/legal review decision before recruitment.
